Btw! The story behind our original iconic logo, is a photo of the Owner of Ginger Pink’s grandson trying a sour lemon for the first time!

Which reminded her of the similar nostalgic memory of trying a salty plum for the first time!

A staple for a lot of Darwinians growing up, thanks to Darwin’s Chinese community!

And so we merged the two together and that’s how the logo was created :))

This is our second version (Girl Logo) of the logo and it’s a photo of the second grandchild doing an adorable expression!

The Ginger Pink store is also located in a heritage listed building and one of the previous owners was a Chinese merchant who sold Salty Plums!

That’s why we were also inspired to put “Salty Plum” in Chinese on the top! we also continue the tradition of selling Salty Plums in our shop! XD
