The ultimate statement piece! Very limited edition! 8 colour Handwoven Ikat cotton fabric, which is a slow process
Handwoven Ikat is a traditional (very slow labor intensive) process, We have 3 different weaves of a similar motif to choose from where yarn is resist dyed (the pattern is dyed directly onto the threads) before being woven on a loom (a loom is a device used to weave fabric by interlacing sets of threads together), resulting in a distinctive pattern
Our unique fabric design is based on our love of the of geometric shapes in breezeblock’s, of which there are many in Darwin as fences or feature walls - mid century modern!
This gorgeous dress features two layer ruffled sleeves and pleated bottom skirt with buttons going down the centre of the dress
Ethically made by small family businesses in Indonesia and the fabric has been woven in a small village in the north west of Bali and fabric print has been designed in Australia
